- 2 medium zucchinis
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a tart pan, trimming the edges.
- Slice the zucchinis thinly and layer them on the pastry.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture over the zucchini and sprinkle with goat cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tart is golden and set.
- Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add some grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
- This tart can be served warm or at room temperature.
