- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons za’atar seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, za’atar, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the cauliflower steaks with the olive oil mixture on both sides.
- Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and tender.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the cauliflower in the olive oil mixture for 30 minutes before roasting.
- Serve with tahini sauce or yogurt for dipping.
