Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons za’atar seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, za’atar, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush the cauliflower steaks with the olive oil mixture on both sides.
  5. Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and tender.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
