Ingredients

  • 400 grams white fish fillets
  • 100 grams rice flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mint, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the fish and mix with rice flour, egg, fish sauce, and sugar.
  2. Add green onions, cilantro, mint, garlic, and black pepper to the mixture.
  3. Form the mixture into small cakes.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the cakes until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve with Nuoc Cham dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the fish for 30 minutes before mixing.
