- 1 pre-baked pie crust
- 2 cups milk

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, heat the milk and ginger until simmering.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, and salt.
- Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
- Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook until thickened.
- Pour the custard into the pie crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger ginger flavor, add more grated ginger.
