A delightful combination of savory and sweet, these cheesy thumbprint cookies are filled with a rich bourbon tomato jam.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup bourbon tomato jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add in cheddar cheese, flour, salt, and paprika. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Make an indentation in the center of each ball.
  6. Fill each indentation with bourbon tomato jam.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
