Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons Thai tea leaves
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the Thai tea leaves and steep for about 30 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to remove the tea leaves.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, mixing well.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze until firm.
Notes
- For a stronger tea flavor, increase the amount of Thai tea leaves.
- Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping for easier serving.
