- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup salsa
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, jalapeños, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until well combined, then form into meatballs.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- In the last 5 minutes, top each meatball with cheese and return to the oven until melted.
- Serve with salsa.
Notes
- Adjust jalapeño quantity to increase or decrease spiciness.
- Can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
- Serve with tortilla chips for added crunch.
