Ingredients

  • 200 grams sugar
  • 100 grams cornstarch

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract, heating over medium heat until thickened.
  2. Pour the mixture into a greased dish and let it cool until firm.
  3. Once set, cut into squares.
  4. Prepare dredging stations with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Coat each square in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry each square until golden brown on all sides.
  7. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar before serving.
