- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and sour cream.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60 minutes, or until the center is set. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, warm caramel sauce and drizzle over the cheesecake.
Notes
- For a festive touch, garnish with whipped cream and additional caramel sauce.
- Allow the cheesecake to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before slicing for easier cutting.
