A rich and creamy cheesecake topped with a luscious caramel sauce, perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and sour cream.
  4. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes, or until the center is set. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  7. Before serving, warm caramel sauce and drizzle over the cheesecake.

  • For a festive touch, garnish with whipped cream and additional caramel sauce.
  • Allow the cheesecake to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before slicing for easier cutting.
