Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
- Trim excess fat from the brisket.
- Rub the brisket with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Place the brisket in the smoker and smoke for about 10-12 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 200°F.
- For the last hour of smoking, baste the brisket with beef tallow.
- Remove from the smoker and let it rest for at least 1 hour before slicing.
