Delicious pancakes infused with sesame and cinnamon flavors, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, sesame seeds, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Heat a griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Pour a ladle of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface.
  6. Flip and cook until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with syrup or your choice of toppings.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top of the pancakes before serving.
  • These pancakes are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days.
