- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sesame seeds, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Heat a griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour a ladle of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface.
- Flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve warm with syrup or your choice of toppings.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top of the pancakes before serving.
- These pancakes are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days.
