  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine honey, sugar, and butter, then mix until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with sour cream.
  6. Divide the batter into multiple cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Let the cakes cool completely before frosting.
  8. For the frosting, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  9. Layer the cakes with frosting in between each layer and coat the outside.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
