- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pistachios
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cream, milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little milk to form a slurry.
- Once the mixture starts to simmer, add the cornstarch mixture and stir continuously until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in the rose water and pistachios.
- Let the mixture cool, then pour it into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer to a container and freeze until firm.
Notes
- For a stronger rose flavor, adjust the amount of rose water to taste.
- Make sure to toast the pistachios for enhanced flavor.
