Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rose water

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cream, milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little milk to form a slurry.
  3. Once the mixture starts to simmer, add the cornstarch mixture and stir continuously until it thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the rose water and pistachios.
  5. Let the mixture cool, then pour it into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Transfer to a container and freeze until firm.
