- 1 ½ cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups pitted cherries, canned or fresh
- ¼ cup cherry juice or syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the chocolate graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter, then press into the bottom of a pie dish to form a crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the sour cream and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently.
- Pour the cream cheese filling into the cooled crust.
- Top with pitted cherries and drizzle cherry juice or syrup over the top.
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- This pie can be made a day in advance for a more intense flavor.
- Serve with extra whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish.
