Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pretzel twists
  • 12 red candy noses

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Press pretzel twists into the top of each cookie as antlers.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  10. Once cooled, add candy noses to create the reindeer faces.

Notes

  • For a fun variation, use different colored candy noses.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
