- 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon red food coloring
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in sour cream, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, red food coloring, and flour until just combined.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use room temperature cream cheese.
- Make sure to let the cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating.
- Top with whipped cream and crushed Oreos if desired.
