A deliciously creamy cheesecake with a red velvet twist and Oreo crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon red food coloring
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sour cream, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, red food coloring, and flour until just combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use room temperature cream cheese.
  • Make sure to let the cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating.
  • Top with whipped cream and crushed Oreos if desired.
