Delicious Red Velvet Cake Balls coated in chocolate, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 oz chocolate melting wafers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the red velvet cake mix according to package instructions and bake.
  3. Once cool, crumble the cake into a large bowl.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  5. Add the cream cheese mixture to the crumbled cake and mix well.
  6. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Melt the chocolate wafers according to package instructions.
  9. Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate and place them back on the baking sheet.
  10. Let them set until the chocolate hardens.

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
