Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, salt, and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes until set.
  5. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with whipped cream on top.
  • This pie can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
