Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter.
