- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (for glaze)
- 1-2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
- In a large bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the bread is baking, prepare the salted brown butter glaze by melting the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until golden brown and nutty in aroma, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together the brown butter, powdered sugar, sea salt, and enough milk to reach your desired glaze consistency.
- Once the bread is done baking, let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Drizzle the salted brown butter glaze over the cooled pumpkin bread.

- For added flavor, consider mixing in 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans into the batter before baking.
