A creamy and nutty twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring layers of pistachio-flavored mascarpone and coffee-soaked ladyfingers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pistachios, shelled
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup espresso, cooled
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend pistachios until finely ground.
  2. In a bowl, mix mascarpone, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, and ground pistachios until smooth.
  3. Dip ladyfingers in espresso briefly and arrange them in a dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers and top with remaining mascarpone mixture.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  7. Sift cocoa powder over the top before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger pistachio flavor, use pistachio extract in place of vanilla.
  • Can be made a day ahead for better flavor.
