- 1 cup finely ground pistachios
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix together the ground pistachios, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and milk.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cardamom to the batter.
- This cake can be served with whipped cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
