- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 cup pistachios, shelled
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into triangles.
- Blend the pistachios, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place a spoonful of the pistachio mixture on each triangle.
- Roll the pastry from the wide end to the tip and place on a baking sheet.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
- For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the pistachio mixture.
