Delicious peanut butter cookies filled with your favorite jelly for a classic treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 cup jelly or jam of your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, baking soda, and salt, and mix until smooth.
  3. Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
  4. Using a fork, press down on each cookie to create a crisscross pattern.
  5. Make an indentation in the center of each cookie and fill with jelly.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cookies are golden.
  7. Let cool before serving.
