- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons sumac
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 4 pieces of flatbread
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tomato, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken thighs with sumac, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- While the chicken cooks, warm the flatbread on the grill or in a pan.
- Slice the cooked chicken and layer it on the flatbread with onion and tomato.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional sumac if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight.
- Serve with a side of tahini sauce for dipping.
