Delicious crispy feta rolls drizzled with a sweet and spicy chili honey sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 package feta cheese
  • 1 package phyllo pastry
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1-2 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, crumble the feta and mix with salt and pepper.
  3. Lay out phyllo pastry and brush with olive oil.
  4. Place crumbled feta at one end of the pastry and roll tightly.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg and olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp.
  7. In a small pot, warm honey and add chili flakes.
  8. Drizzle chili honey over baked feta rolls before serving.

Notes

  • For added spice, increase the amount of chili flakes.
  • Serve with fresh herbs for garnish.
