Delicious and healthy no-bake chocolate bars made with dates and nuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup nut butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the pitted dates and mixed nuts. Process until finely chopped.
  2. Add cocoa powder, nut butter, salt, and vanilla extract. Process until the mixture comes together.
  3. If using, mix in shredded coconut.
  4. Press the mixture into a lined baking dish evenly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • These bars can be customized with your favorite nuts or add-ins.
  • For a sweeter taste, add a bit of honey or maple syrup.
