Deliciously rich and creamy Christmas fudge, perfect for gifting or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, heavy cream, cocoa powder, and butter.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
  3. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and nuts if using.
  5. Pour into a greased 9×9 inch pan and let cool.
  6. Once set, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For a creamier fudge, stir more after removing from heat.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
