Ingredients

- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, heavy cream, cocoa powder, and butter.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
- Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and nuts if using.
- Pour into a greased 9×9 inch pan and let cool.
- Once set, cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- For a creamier fudge, stir more after removing from heat.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
