- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the melted butter to the bananas and mix well.
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra moisture, make sure your bananas are very ripe.
- This bread can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
