Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup apricot preserves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, all-purpose flour, and powdered sugar.
  3. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in the egg and almond extract until the dough forms.
  5. Press the dough into miniature tart pans.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and cool slightly.
  8. Fill each tart with apricot preserves and top with sliced almonds.
  9. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  10. Allow to cool before serving.
