- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup apricot preserves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, all-purpose flour, and powdered sugar.
- Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in the egg and almond extract until the dough forms.
- Press the dough into miniature tart pans.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and cool slightly.
- Fill each tart with apricot preserves and top with sliced almonds.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- These tarts can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
- Feel free to substitute the fillings with other fruit preserves if desired.
