- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into circles.
- Place the circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon the mixture onto the pastry circles.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- These tarts can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Feel free to add other toppings such as olives or arugula for extra flavor.
