- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and powdered sugar, then cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture into mini tart pans and bake for 15 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla over medium heat until dissolved.
- Add pecans and stir until evenly coated.
- Fill the baked tart shells with the pecan mixture.
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- These tarts can be served warm or at room temperature.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
