Delicious mini tarts filled with caramel and pecans, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and powdered sugar, then cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press the mixture into mini tart pans and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla over medium heat until dissolved.
  5. Add pecans and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Fill the baked tart shells with the pecan mixture.
  7. Bake for an additional 10 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
