- 200g digestive biscuits
- 100g unsalted butter, melted
- 200g sweetened condensed milk
- 100g golden syrup
- 100g dark chocolate, chopped
- 100g milk chocolate, chopped
- 50g unsalted butter (for caramel)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, crush the digestive biscuits until fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter.
- Press the biscuit mixture into a lined baking tray to form the base.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
- In a saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, golden syrup, and butter. Stir over medium heat until it thickens.
- Pour the caramel over the cooled biscuit base and allow to set.
- Melt the dark and milk chocolate together and pour over the set caramel.
- Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use high-quality chocolate.
- Allow the bars to chill completely for easier slicing.
