- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk tea (brewed and cooled)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk tea and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Pour the batter into prepared cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before frosting with buttercream.
Notes
- For a stronger tea flavor, use extra tea leaves in the batter.
- This cake can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
