- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Melt the butter and mix with sugar until creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
- Stir in the white chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and swirl extra white chocolate on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a more intense matcha flavor, add an additional tablespoon of matcha powder.
- Make sure the brownies are completely cooled before serving for the best texture.
