- 4 pounds beef short ribs
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the maple syrup, bourbon, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, pepper, and salt.
- Place the short ribs in a large roasting pan and pour the maple-bourbon mixture over the ribs.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes until the ribs are tender and the glaze has thickened.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight in the maple-bourbon mixture.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or crusty bread to soak up the glaze.
