- 1 egg

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the softened butter and sugar until creamy.
- Stir in the honey, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, spices, and salt.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Flatten each ball slightly with your hand.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- The cookies can be decorated with icing or left plain.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
