- 1 pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
- Brush the dough with olive oil.
- Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the dough.
- Drizzle the lemon juice and sprinkle the lemon zest over the cheese.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Season with salt and add fresh basil on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes before serving.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
