Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Brush the dough with olive oil.
  4. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the dough.
  5. Drizzle the lemon juice and sprinkle the lemon zest over the cheese.
  6. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Season with salt and add fresh basil on top.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes before serving.
  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
