- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons water (as needed)
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until smooth, adding water as needed for desired consistency.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with pita chips or fresh vegetables.
Notes
- Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
- Add more lemon juice for extra tanginess.
