- 1 cup green peas
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 cup coconut milk
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
- Once they start to splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger and garlic paste, followed by the chopped tomatoes.
- Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add turmeric, coriander powder, and garam masala, and mix well.
- Add green peas and salt, stirring to combine.
- Pour in coconut milk and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning as needed and serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add chopped green chilies.
- Serve with rice or roti for a complete meal.
