- 2 pounds beef or goat meat, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Marinate the meat with vegetable oil, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, lemon juice, and black pepper for at least 1 hour.
- Grill the marinated meat over medium heat until fully cooked and charred to preference.
- In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Slowly add cornmeal to boiling water while stirring to avoid lumps.
- Cook the cornmeal porridge, stirring frequently, until thickened (about 10-15 minutes).
- Add salt to taste and serve hot with the grilled meat.

- Serve with tomato salsa for added flavor.
