Delicious and decadent Italian Cream Bombs filled with sweet cream and covered in chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut, shredded
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, combine the cream cheese and ricotta cheese, mixing until smooth.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the cheese mixture until well combined.
  4. Stir in the crushed vanilla wafers, coconut, and walnuts.
  5. Form the mixture into small balls and freeze for 1 hour.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  7. Dip each frozen ball into the melted chocolate and let cool on a parchment-lined sheet.
  8. Refrigerate until set, then serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate for dipping.
  • These can be made a day in advance for best results.
