Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, mix warm milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes on a floured surface.
  5. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  7. Stretch pieces of dough into thin rounds and gently place them in the hot oil.
  8. Fry until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
