  • 2 cups mixed nuts (walnuts, almonds, pistachios)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the nuts and cinnamon.
  3. Take small portions of kataifi dough and spread them out.
  4. Add a spoonful of the nut mixture and roll the dough tightly.
  5. Place the rolled kataifi in a greased baking dish.
  6. Brush melted butter over the kataifi.
  7. Bake for about 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
  8. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and lemon juice to make the syrup. Bring to a boil.
