- 3 cups whole wheat flour

- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast

- 1 cup warm water

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm water and honey; sprinkle yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture and stir.
- Gradually add whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide into 12 pieces; shape each piece into a roll.
- Place rolls in a greased baking pan, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
