A vibrant and flavorful sauce made from roasted peppers, nuts, and spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Roast the red bell pepper and tomato until charred.
  2. Allow to cool, then peel and remove seeds.
  3. In a blender, combine roasted pepper, tomato, almonds, garlic, vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Blend until smooth, then drizzle in olive oil while blending.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
