Delicious almond tartlets perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond paste
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a mini muffin tin.
  4. In another bowl, blend almond paste, powdered sugar, milk, and almond extract.
  5. Spoon the almond filling into the prepared crusts.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden.
  7. Let cool before serving.
