Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a greased baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes and apples.
- In a saucepan, heat the cream with salt, pepper, and nutmeg until warm.
- Pour the cream over the potatoes and apples, then sprinkle with cheddar and Parmesan.
- Dot the top with butter.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the top is golden.
