Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and rosemary.
  2. Create a well in the center and add warm water and olive oil.
  3. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide into rolls.
  6. Place rolls on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, brush with garlic butter before baking.
  • These rolls can be frozen after baking.
