Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Dissolve the yeast in warm milk and add to the dry ingredients.
- Add melted butter and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
- Spread the jam evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and shape it into a bun.
- Place the bun on a baking tray and let it rise again.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Brush the top with beaten egg and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool before slicing and serving.
